Green buckwheat is not heat treated, which means it retains all its beneficial substances. Green buckwheat is an organic and safe crop, since its crops are never treated with synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Green buckwheat contains 18 amino acids, including all essential ones. Green buckwheat contains B vitamins: B1, B2, PP, B5, B6, B9; macro- and micronutrients: potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, manganese, copper, sodium, selenium. Green buckwheat contains quercetin and flavonoid proanthocyanidin, the antioxidant activity of which is about 50 times higher than that of vitamin E and selenium, and about 20 times higher than that of vitamin C.
